Mentioned the above for players that might try going to a location and wait an hour...then wait another hour...and nothing happens. Since they have to look or enter to trigger the event.
The delivery events are a bit tricky. Most are set to arrive after a certain time and if the event can be done early in the morning it will show up the same day. No harm done.
I haven't used Adrift since 3.0 but it is all in how you trigger the events, most were either timed or were upon movement into the location. I don't think that you can have an event trigger when the wait until command is used. I did trigger a few with look, I'm used to how it works so it wasn't a big deal for me, but I agree with you here, I think you are limited by how it works.
I saw the same with the delivery events, I was told it would be tomorrow but in the next turn or two I was in reception or the employee room and saw the same thing, the delivery happened. Unless you have some sort of date counter I don't think there is much you can do with that, not sure Adrift even offers something like that. Or you'd have to write one. But it would be worth doing, since you already track the days in the bottom info bar, maybe its a variable you can use to determine when the delivery should at least not happen, not on same day. Unless your delivery service is just that good.
