Nah. I think that any movie I'd make would surely be a flop. I mean, really, have you seen a good movie based off a game?ut1stgear1 wrote:I would be willing to wager that wolfshadowe could make a great movie.
Thanks Godsh! I appreciate it!Godsh wrote:Great job, amazing game so far, I like games like that with a lot of paths/possibilities. Characters are really interesting too (Nathalie and Azumi) and it's also well written which makes the game nearly addictive imo. I'm going for a donation now.
Sorry noskcaj, I can't answer that here. The forum has a strict no advertising or fundraising policy that I fully respect but occasionally forget about, but thankfully the mods are on the ball, as evidenced by the "****' a few posts back.noskcaj wrote:Where can we donate?
Check the options menu in-game.noskcaj wrote:Where can we donate?

Haven't played for a couple of weeks and just went to get back in the swing of things and all my saves have disappeared.
Using Firefox and I did clear cookies a couple of days ago, but I cannot understand why that should delete the saves?

According to Mozilla, localstorage is also cleared when clearing all cookies with time set to "Everything." Basically, consider anything that clears cookies as clearing localstorage as well, even though that's not necessarily the case. Also, if for some reason, localstorage isn't available, the fallback is to use cookies for savegames and achievements.
I recommend using the savegame/achievements backup functionality regularly due to the fragile nature of localstorage, as it will also clear items on a first in-first out basis if it starts filling up for some reason.

Whether you play BEW online or offline your saves are stored locally on your computer. They are not backed up on any server. If you clear your cache, you loose your saves. The only way you can make sure you don't lose your saves is to export them from the options menu.ut1stgear1 wrote:I guess that's one advantage of playing it online. Even if I clear my cache, which includes cookies usually, I don't lose any saved games unless they do the same thing or have a server crash but online sites usually have a backup they can reboot from, most of them anyway.

Wolfschadowe wrote:So here is another example of why I'm geeking out a bit and really hoping to be able to realistically switch over to DAZ iRay based rendering. Can you tell which is iRay and which is the current render method?
Option A
Option B
From my seldom used DeviantArt page.
Wolfschadowe wrote:I have the latest version of Poser Pro myself, but I always find myself using Daz, even before iRay, although I do like the firefly engine in Poser, and the ability to queue renders. Daz just fit's my brain better for most things that I do. I also tried Reality/Lux combo, and had the same problem you described. Too fiddly.
I definitely see improvement in your "Option B" image. iRay is heavily dependent on nvidia CUDA processing. There are some settings that speed it up a bit. Some tips in spoiler.
