Are you sure your AV software wasn't giving a false positive? I just used the torrent link without any issues, but then my OS is Ubuntu Linux and isn't vulnerable to viruses like Windows -- the 0.52 .exe seems to run fine using Wine.

BTW the torrent info has been uploaded to thepiratebay.se by the author/s so only they could have indulged in any viral tampering -- seems unlikely to me in the circumstances.
