My 3D remake of a 2D joke I saw. Went for quality scenery. Insane hires shadows (r_flashlightdepthres 8192) Probably won't tell you much if you don't know Source.
Even with my quad core, it was lagging like crazy. GMod insisted on making a shadow of every single leave on those palms.

I like the drawing very much, but.. to get the ripples in the reflection you kinda need some motion in the water, like the circles you get when you throw a stone into the water. Juuuuuuuuust a thought.

Tried different ripple effects, but for some reason I went for this. More for the effect than the realism really.

60nowise introduced us to Sqirlz in My Perfect Girl. It's freeware http://www.xiberpix.net/SqirlzReflect.html. If you are unaware of it, it features in DiTo's avatar and in a few places in in My Peerfect Girl.

A screen capture of one image would be sufficient for the splash and ripple effect mentioned, but you could still offer it as an anime.
