Have been following Shark for about 3 maybe 4 years now. Forget when I actually registered. Not a prodigious (I think I spelled that right) poster but finally was able to get back in
Didn't know where this one should go.
I found that the downloads seem to get corrupted if you have all 3 of these on your system:
CCleaner
Malwarebytes
spybot searchanddestroy

You have to have all 3 as I do. If you disable any one of them the downloads are fine.
For verification ran the setup on 7 different boxes with IE, Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Opera just to be sure.
Just a quirk I thought you might want to know about for future reference.

oh, forgot, I am a web coder....not designer... so I have a teeny bit of knowledge. Just enough to get me in trouble sometimes though

As to the corruptions, I thought for a moment you were discussing this Board's functionality. Actually I think the matters you raised would probably be best suited for "The Beach" but I'm sure when corruption issues arise someone will recall this note.
