I take credit where credit is due (thank you).
With that said, there was a certain amount of to and fro as we considered content. Our various researches do show that we have probably been more faithful to the period than what you might expect of a film producer. In many households, for instance, privacy would have been limited since servants and the whole family would have bedded down in the same room. As Shark rightly reminded me, the values then were not like those of Victorian England, the "Geraldine" of that time may not have been timid in inviting a stranger to bathe naked with her in the river, may not have been shy about her nakedness.
And for additional credit, Shark does deserve much for his own researches and being as faithful as possible to the era.
Squeaky is clean, I'm just a tad messy!
