Yes I have two in the works hope to send you some soon for proofing, Hand is fine, best as can be expected. I am going in for small operation 1-31-14 , not related to the hand, so I will be down that weekend maybe I can edit more then.

I've been playing around with Daz Studio again after a long while. I'm still a noob when it comes to lightning and all that though.

I've been learning the ropes with the Lux Render and just taking some test renders, and I actually like how this one turned out. It's just a simple pose and all, but compared to the 3Delight renders it looks quite good. The hair was supposed be brown though, I have to delve into the Lux materials better though.

The Lux Render is amazing. This is just a default export from Daz Studio too. The plugin automatically transforms the materials into Lux, but the best results happen when you set it yourself in Daz, with lots of error and learning. It can look a lot better. The only downside to Lux is the extreme rendering times, since it works completely different than 3Delight, I have another render with lots of props, a whole scene set up that's been cooking for 2 hours or something already. The good thing is that you can pause the render whenever you'd like and continue.

So I'll post that one when it's finished.

Thanks. Well it's not a drawing as you put it. Render is the word. And I really wish I could take the credit, but all I did was create a big primitive box in Daz Studio and put my Genesis model in there. It's better to have something for the light to bounce off because of the way LuxRender works. I posed her, added the hair and tweaked the lightning and render settings a bit.

Lux Render is really the program to thank. Since it's an unbiased rendering engine, unlike the 3Delight engine that comes with DazStudio. That means Lux renders the picture while calculating how light behaves in the real world. That gives you a lot more realistic picture. I'm going to do a comparison if you want, just to show it.
