This is quite intriguing.
What is the background, a rocky terrain with a waterfall behind her? I did think a huge tree at first, bark texture.
One of the first things I noticed was the colour of her dress, and then its transparency. The spreading of her hands seems to suggest the angst showing on her face. I like.

I guess I'll let it speak for itself.
One kind of interesting thing (well, only to other renderers) is that the rough ground beneath her feet is done with a flat plane, using a displacement map and high displacement values.
