LRM thanks, gives me some consolation that the fault is not necessarily something that I have created.

I loaded the HTML page into IE5.5 and did see green buttons (which I didn't see under FireFox), but they had no effect.

This surprises me in that I assumed that I assumed that the browser was just a vehicle to carry the Flashplayer. With the file locked as an swf entity, and Paradise 2 works, I am lleft confused.

Some joy at least.

I copied the Paradise 1 files over to a machine running XP Home and FF3.5.13. Initially I thought I was again in trouble but pressing F11 passed me over to Fullscreen mode.

So why? Why do other swf files work under ME and FF2.0.0.20 and not this one?

Glad to return a little help Squeeky.

Update:
If I right click the Flash file and then open with, I
get 4 options:
Macromedia Flash Player 7.0 r14
IrfanView
Internet Explorer
Macromedia Flash Player 7.0 r14.

Neither Flash Player works correctly.
The IE acts exactly like the http version (Mother may I).
The IrfanView works without any problem or permission.

Episode 2 acts exactly as above.

Isn't Flash Player 7 a bit out of date? I'm on 10.1 r85 at the moment.

Adobe Flash is indeed 10.1 r85, this is looking for Macromedia flash. Macromedia flash can be downloaded from many sites (some not recommended). IrfanView uses its own flash player and it functions properly.

I changed the default on these 2 chapters to IrfanView. Problem solved for me for now.

I just downloaded the latest version of irfanView http://www.irfanview.com/index.htm (4.27). It uses Adobe 9 flash player and operates normally.

Oh, wow, I didn't realize Cugel was updating the first page. Cool, I've got a lot of comics to read.

Cugel, I suggest when you post a new one that you update the first page and then add a new reply saying that you did.

Thanks Norse Graphics for letting us know. (-:

Good stuff, Cugel. I just read 3-6 and am looking forward to more. The dialog is great, and the characterization of the guy is wonderful. We've lost a little of the innocence with the women (okay, all of it) but that's okay considering what you're doing (a self proclaimed "horny fantasy").

Keep it up!

I downloaded from Rapidshare first and got a corrupted file - I didn't try downloading again to see if it was due to the file itself or a problem between Rapidshare and my computer, instead I downloaded from Hotfile and this time it worked fine.

Nice little game of Sharon's - I'll be interested to see how it plays out. Then of course, there are the other girls' fantasies...!

Just tried Rapidshare again and the file worked fine, so my problem must have been a one off
