The outcome of the case is based on collecting key evidence (stars), the ending changes based on which key evidence you found, and you get the "Good Ending" if you find all the key evidence.

Greyelf, you post The outcome of the case is based on collecting key evidence (stars), the ending changes based on which key evidence you found, and you get the "Good Ending" if you find all the key evidence.
this would indicate a different ending for each star found. [ in effect ] 5 different endings, is this the intent of your statement??

is this to mean a different ending for each woman?? or a different ending for each combination of stars
1 star different ending
2 " " "
3 " " "
etc
etc
etc
?

No, only one bad end, the only difference is that in the wrong end, the woman who accompanies Tom Nolan is not always the same.

Any suggestions or puzzles?

I've played this through several times now, even once with the benefit of the clues, to be sure. I still end up without
. At the airport the suspect is with his sister - bad end.
What have I missed?

Thanks but I'm still not sure..
..
If there's another point to be gained shouldn't there be another "clue"? I still feel I've missed something else but can't see any other optional hotspots..

Oh you only go to Victoria's house once, and so make sure you get satisfied and check everything out before you leave.
It's quite a good idea to use the save feature a lot in this game.

Shark posted a
hint on how each star is gained.

I was just coming back to say don't worry, I found it - but Shark also mentioned something specific about "clue" and I am correct in saying it seems there is one place where that does not apply.

A little early for the hint word... usually within the first 5 pages (five letters this time).
I needed the hint word to successfully complete this one. Very rare occurrence but it is an exceptional game in my opinion.
