Kudos and suggestions from a fellow enthusiast..

The graphics in Shark's games are very nice compared with a lot of what's out there. I love the way there are rich textures, and details like.. shadows.. plant leaves and quilt patterns.. etc. and so on and so forth. Really really nice work!

The whole "don't let the Nanny see!" thing in "A Horny Afternoon" is awesome, hehe. And I love how it slowly builds up to having her finally get completely naked, and give you a good solid blast of full frontal hotness while she totally rides his cock over the edge! Sweet! Awesome! You're like, despairing of ever really seeing that much of her, and then bam! Hehe.

I really enjoyed "Really Hot Sand Part II", also. I loved the depiction of her aggressiveness, her climax, and subsequent satisfied exhaustion. Those are really sweet touches. There is what looks like a stiff and straight back during her climaxing, and then after she finishes, she falls forward, hehe. Finally, someone tried to at least reach toward a semi-realistic-seeming expression of some level of passion.

Speaking of which, the passion of a climax is an incredibly salacious element that is conspicuously missing from porn games and from pornography in general, it seems to me. (Although it may be that I just haven't come across it. I know I've only barely scratched the surface of the whole pile of porn that's out there.) The fact that it is missing is a bit surprising and mysterious to me - is it not part of the experience of most people?

Like most guys my age, I've had a number of girlfriends over the years, and while each was unique, and varied widely from the others in a variety of ways, in every case there is a very definite and obvious line that is crossed when they go over the edge into climax. Louder and more frequent "ooh"ing just does not a climax make. In fact, louder and more frequent "ooh"ing doesn't even begin to do it justice.

In one case, for example, as she would begin to approach climax, her body would grow tense and more still (over all), as the stimulating motion became more rapid and focused, and she would hold her breath. Her posture would take on a certain.. position that is hard to describe. During that "nearing climax" phase, she would occasionally gasp her breath out, but then quickly catch it again and continue to hold it. Then when she went over the edge into climax, she would gasp out her breath and begin breathlessly gasping and yelling, her vagina would begin to spasm in this sort of clenching and releasing kind of a way, and it would suddenly become a lot more wet (in fact sometimes there was a sort of gushing flow), and her whole body would kind of spasm and wriggle in a very distinctive way that's hard to describe. Then when she was finished, she would fall back (or forward, depending on the position we were in) into exhaustion, and just lay there like a wrung out rag for a while, hehe. And she'd get this.. satisfied smile. (Not too unlike the smile the girl gets in "Don't wake her," actually. I love that, hehe.)

I'm sure it's not easy (in fact I imagine it's incredibly difficult) to create games like this, and make them appear anything other than entirely mechanical. I'm a software developer too, and I've made some little games and such, but I haven't attempted anything pornographic, yet. Sometimes I consider making an attempt, and think about things I might put in..

It strikes me that while the arousal bar is decidedly artificial, one really good thing about it is that it works hand in hand (if you'll pardon my pun) with the imagination. Some things that are hard to portray very well in a visual depiction can be communicated, to some extent, by other signals, like that. Suddenly spasmatic and feverish pelvic thrusting, you may be able to show, but that spasmadic vaginal vibration isn't really (well, not usually) a visually witnessed phenomenon; it's more of a tactile thing. So when the bar changes color and flashes "ORGASM" it.. is a little bit reminiscent of that. But I would like to see it made substantially more reminiscent of it. Like.. have the "orgasm" text just flash on and off in the foreground, at about 1 second intervals (one second on, one second off), but have the background color go through a portrayal of vaginal spasming. Have it go from purple or feint red to bright red at the start of the climax, and during it, rotate through a specific cycle: Go from really feint to bold and bright over about 0.3 to 0.4 seconds, then hold at bright for about 0.2 to about 0.3 seconds while rotating through different shades of bright red, then immediately go back to feint and start again; so each spasm/clench/squirt randomly varies in length from about 0.5 to about 0.7 seconds, while hinting at a kind of very rapid shivering underlying the spasming. I suspect that that would very definitely remind a person of that vaginal spasmadic vibration.

Oh, and a nice, loud, electrifying sound for crossing the line, haha. I remember playing EverQuest, a few years back. They have this very distinctive, sort of spine-tingling "ZCHING" sound they play, pretty loudly, when you gain a level. People would often share their joy at levelling up by shouting "DING!", and some people in the zone might respond with "GRATZ!" or "grats", etc. One time a girl shouted:

"yes! YES! OOOOOOO O O H D I N G !"

HAHAHA. Of course I couldn't help but mentally draw the connection to the idea of her having an orgasm. I think that sound (or one very much like it) would make an excellect adjunct to the arousal bar flash to signal the onset of climax.

Imo, there should be at least 5 distinctly visible phases of any depiction of sexual intercourse: Build up, nearing climax, going over the edge (a very short, but important phase), climaxing, and exhaustion. Thrusting should start out slow and big, get faster and faster and shorter and shorter during build up (go from about 1 second per thrust to about 0.4 seconds per thrust, and from full distance to about 1/3 distance), then suddenly get really fast and short during the "nearing the edge" phase (about 0.22 to 0.27 seconds per thrust, with each thrust going about a 1/5th to 1/4th of the full thrust distance), then transition, after the "going over the edge animation", to big and dramatic thrusting during climax (about 0.5 to about 0.7 seconds per thrust, with each thrust going the full distance plus some because of extra bucking), then quickly slow to a stop during the exhaustion phase. (0.5, 0.7, 1, 2, 4, rest for 12 to 17, then slowly pull out over about 2 to 3.)

So I imagine a climax scene in a game that goes kind of like this: She's on top, facing him and stradling him. Her head is forward, and her hair is all spilled forward and hanging down in front of her. Her back is arched. She's holding her breath. Her pelvic thrusting is short and fast, and the arousal bar, which was yellow near the end of the "build up" phase, nears the top and begins to get a rosy tinge. That's the "nearing the edge" phase. It lasts anywhere from 5 to 15 seconds. Then the "going over the edge" phase happens: The arousal bar goes from a yellowish rosy pink to bright red. She throws her head back, her hair flies over her head and back behind her, and she opens her mouth. She pulls her pelvis out in preparation for big pounding, and he takes the hint and pulls his back as well, so his penis is almost all the way out, then they thrust deep into each other. That "going over the edge" takes from about 0.9 to 1.2 seconds. Then the "climax" phase begins: The zching sound plays. The arousal bar begins to background-spasm and flash "ORGASM!" She starts gasping and breathlessly yelling. She starts big dramatic pounding/thrusting that is augmented by his thrusting, which is in a rythm that thrusts into her as she's thrusting against him, then lifts her up off of him and then pulls almost all the way out of her before she begins her next thrust. Her breasts and hair bounce violently, in rythm with the pounding.

The climax goes on for anywhere from about 7 to about 18 seconds. Depending on how thoroughly aroused she is (and how her hormones are doing, and how much Spanish Fly she's had, and what the surroundings are alike, and what day of the week it is, and how her relationship with her Mom is doing, and any number of other seemingly unrelated factors - but oops, I'm talking about a game, here, aren't I?) she may go back to the nearing climax phase again, spend longer there, and then climax again, for even longer. In fact this sequence may play out several times before she finally goes into the exhaustion phase.

Speaking of which, another thing I think of putting into a game like this is a number of different intensities and lengths of climaxes that can be achieved, depending on how patient and persistent the player is about working up to it, and/or how accurately and consistently they pushed her buttons at the right times. (If they use a fast and furious passionate approach, and hit all the right buttons without missing any, and without hitting any wrong ones, they might get her to high intensity, multi-climax pretty quickly.) Depending on how well the player does during the seduction and foreplay phase, she may not be inspired to take the aggressive "on top" position. She may just spread her legs and let him do all or most of the work. Her brief little "ooh" of a climax might turn into a yawn, hehe. And that's if she even opens her mouth at all, hehe. She might just go "m.. m.. mmm." and then smile a little. There should be a huge difference between what the skilled player achieves and what the first time player gets.

Yet one more thing that I sometimes imagine puting in is.. a way of adding big, freely blasting/squirting cum and gizm into the space of a climax scene, without sacrificing having him cum deep inside her, and her all around him.

Here's a scenario, for example: A guy and a girl go, separately, into a mall, and into separate bathrooms in the mall. (Men, and women, respectively.) In each bathroom, there's a door to a private hallway. In those hallways are lockable doors to virtual sex rooms. They each enter one, lock the door behind them, get naked, sit in a virtual reality seat, and put electrodes on, or maybe insert a spike into the back of their head like in the Matrix. This all happens in two side windows, while a center window remains blank. As they put their spikes in and lay back, the center window lights up. Then the center scene depicts their alter-egos in the matrix (which look completely different from them). The game takes place in the matrix, and the alter-ego characters end up having sex there. During the climax scene, while the center window is showing their lovemaking / climaxing in the matrix, the side windows are showing them in their virtual reality couches: During the build up, the guy's dong get's eract, and kind of quivers a little bit. During the "nearing the edge" phase, their backs arch a little, their mouths open and their facial expressions get all sexed up. As they go over the edge, they each thrust their pelvis forward and begin to kind of shake and quiver. Then the guy's dong pulsates and begins blasting cum all over his chest and stomach, and the girl's vagina spasms and starts squirting gizm all over her legs. Squirt, squirt, squirt, squirt.... (for 7 to 18 seconds)... dribble, dribble, drip, drip, drop like a sprinkler that just had the hose turned off, and then as the alter-egos relax into exhaustion in the center window, their pelvises, backs, faces and genitals relax back down into satisfied exhaustion in the side windows.

Or, here's another possibility: The side windows show a guy and girl walking into hotel rooms, and turning on their TV's. Their TV's show what's showing on the center window, which is your character beginning his effort to seduce a hot chick. (Unbeknownced to the poor hapless hot chick, you're making a live virtual reality show with hidden cameras, that is being played as a pay-per-view at a near by hotel.) As you play your character and go through the process of seducing and having sex with the hot chick, the side windows show the guy and the girl taking their clothes off, dancing seductively while doing so (just out of enthusiasm for the progress you're making, if you do well and make fast progress) and then kneeling and beginning to masterbate as your character begins to vaginally stimulate and have sex with the chick. During the eventual cum shot, the guy rears back, thrusts his dick forward, and hand-pounds cum all over the carpet far in front of him (maybe a few drops hit the TV), and she rears back, thrusts her pussy forward, and sprays gizm between her rapidly squeezing/stroking fingers all over the carpet in front of her. Then when they're done, they each slide down the ends of their beds into a sitting possition on the carpet, all sighing and smiley. Maybe they threw towels down, ahead of time, just to save the carpets, and maybe now they gather them up and use them to clean their genitals and hands.

One much less ambitious idea for adding a bit of spoogey enthusiasm to an intercourse cum shot might be to simply have a couple of animated icons show up off to the side under the arousal bar when the arousal bar reaches climax: One shows a cum blasting penis, and the other shows a gizm squirting pussy.

So, in summary, here are some suggestions for porn game creators in general:

1. Make absolutely sure there is a very obvious and dramatic line over which the girl pitches when she loses control and begins to climax.

2. Have at least 5 visibly and audibly distinct phases of intercourse: Building up, riding the edge, going over the edge, climaxing, and falling into exhaustion.

3. In addition to making her show and yell her climaxing, use dramatic external sounds and signs to give the player the full idea of what's happening: A loud ching sound, a spasming arousal bar, and maybe some animated goo squirting gifs or some more ambitious side-window cum shot depictions.

4. In a really ambitious game, measure the player's performance, and depending on how well they do, reward them with a different intensity and length of climax. (The better they do, the more intense and the longer lasting a climax they get.) If they do extraordinarily well, or happen across a specific combination of actions that just really send her, consider making her repeat the "nearing climax" and "climaxing" phase a number of times.
