I've been complaining about not seeing the Shark's home page http://sharks-lagoon.fr/
but could get to the Forums!

So what's funny? In a previous exchange there were reports from users with problems and I was 'pristine'.

Well, now I've complained and strangely noone else has!

I turned off my internet hub (serving two computers) and restarted! .... said enough?

I had not complained because I hoped the bad peering route or whatever the problem is would be fixed. My route also dies around ip-star.

Shark's web host may need to contact ip-star to find out why certain routes are failing. Here is my trace. I'm not including my side because they won't need it but I'm including everything from where it leaves the US.

Salut à tous les Sharkonautes, je suis comme vous, je n'arrive plus à me connecter. N'étant pas une pointure en informatique, je ne comprends pas toujours les envois(Squeeky, xeris 69). Je regarde de temps en temps sur le forum pour voir si il y a des solutions. Si Shark ou quelqu'un d'autre trouve un moyen de résoudre le problème, svp, faites nous le savoir. Shark, reviens vite.

Franchement, j'ai du mal à comprendre... Entre ceux qui parviennent à se connecter et ceux qui n'y parviennent pas, je n'arrive pas à trouver une différence (région, navigateur, matériel ?)...
En plus, je ne suis pas un super pro sur cette partie de l'informatique.... Je pense que je vais essayer un nouvel hébergeur, dés que j'aurai un peu de monnaie disponible....

I still can't access the non-forum Lagoon directly, but I can surf in from http://anonymouse.org/anonwww.html, so it's all good.

Aw, shucks!

Im not so familiar with computer like you all.But after Shark find the new host i cant find his page too.So I goggle him and after that I have add the site to my fav´s....and it works everytime.The games also....bit slower then before...only SE didnt work.I use IE7 since my firefox crashed.

J'espère trouver un jour un serveur un peu plus puissant, mais le téléchargement des jeux en flash nécessite beaucoup de bande passante et les offres adéquates à bas cout ne sont pas nombreuses.
C'est pour cela que j'ai essayé de mettre un peu de pub sur le site pour voir si le site pouvait être capable de s'auto-financer...
Actuellement,le site fonctionne sur un serveur implanté en France pour lequel j'ai souscrit pour 3 mois (jusqu'à fin avril). a l'issue, tout dépendra de mes moyens financiers...

Je viens d'arriver à me reconnecter pour la première fois depuis janvier (pour la parution du Quizz). Hourra!!!!!!
Question : plus on clique sur les pubs, plus on finance le site ?
