hand drawn (2D art) versus 3D renders

hand drawn (2D art) versus 3D renders

Postby fleet » Thu, 11Oct20 00:16

At a certain site that I visit, of those members who expressed an opinion, hand drawn (2D) art is preferred over 3D renders in stories. Do folks here have a preference, 2D or 3D?
very respectfully,

Both have + and -.... I prefer a good story. After that, what ever art form the creator used was up to him/her.

I really do like having pretty 2D art.

But when it comes to a really good erotic game like the kinds of things you see on this website; I gotta go with 3D.
I appreicate having all the angles and the extra dimension. It's why I enjoy Shark's games the best! He handles the 3D pretty well. he knows how to make a transition; from one scene to the next. Sharks's games are very good in that respect. Probably the best i'll ever play in erotic games.

And his stories and characters are also pretty damn good too.

To me, it matters entirely on the aesthetics. Before this forum, I'd have said 2D without blinking, but the work of people her like RK Shooter and Rastifan have won me over to 3D. Just whatever media you work in, do it well.

I think the quality of the painting is much important that 2D or 3D because it take your imagination with it

I would agree, the quality of the image is much more important than the dimensions.

Though saying that, when it comes to games, it is much easier for the artist to create a variety of 3d images by moving the models around, therefore I find that games containing 3d images have more variety and also have a richer story, as the author has more time to spend on the scenario. :)

Look for a game called MILF TOWN 2.23. It's 2D art, but I found it incredibly erotic. It was also a pretty fun RPG.
