Thank you so much for sharing, I can see why you like it. As I brings back memories for me also.

I don't know Feist, but that was great -- reminds me of many happy hours spent back in the '90s watching Sesame Street with my son. That was back when Maria and Louis ran the Fixit Shop.

This is not music, but, wow, the level of skill this guy has on a bike is unreal.

Now this young woman can sing, she has an amazing voice, and also amazing control over her voice, she is so good the male judge on the end actually gets emotional.

It was my pleasure HC. Sesame Street has been a part of growing up in my family for three generations. I especially enjoy the portions with the Muppets. Jim Henson's creations were charming and the humor tended to be corny. But I think that's what made it timeless. Although the "1234" skit was created well after Henson's death, one can see his imprint on it.

Thanks Greebo. Leslie Feist is an Indie Pop artist from Alberta Canada. The song and the album "1234" was her most successful effort. Having it featured on a Apple iPod nano commercial needless to say gave it big sales boost.

I pretty much started seeing the show since it first starting airing. Having one TV and two younger siblings the show was pretty much compulsory. Of course, after the show was over I changed the channel to watch "Ultra Man".

I remember Mr. Hooper and my sister told me the show covering his passing did a nice job of covering the subject of death. That happened before my children were born. Maybe I can find the episode on Youtube and give it look see.

Yep. Those BMX park style folks are amazing. Went to a few X Games. Great stuff to watch especially the moto x events. The skateboard vert ramp is probably better to watch on TV. It's a relatively small apparatus so viewing is limited when seeing it live.

Here's my favorite Sesame Street Muppet Song sketch. Every time I see the female sheep sing "O O O O O" with the head going side to side, I can't help but smile. Jim Henson at his silly best.

This is funny and it explains so much the behavior a normal person can hardly understand.

Unfortunately I'm not from the US so that link gives me
"Video unavailable
The uploader has not made this video available in your country."
However ve haff vays of accessing zis material (TPB) -- I just downloaded the show only to find I'd mistakenly obtained the next in the series. I hadn't missed out on hilarity though, there was a section by an expert (Michael Kosta), explaining how he taught Trump how to "stand normally"

Yes, that is Trump's normal stance -- you'd think the man would be forever falling over! (Mind you the photographer has cruelly exaggerated his inclination.)

Oh, too bad. I'm not in the USA either but I can watch it without restrictions.

Here is a short excerpt of what it's about:
(showing footage of alt-right protests, angry white supremacists, etc.)
Moderator: There's no logical reason why the alt-right should be so angry. They're kinda winning.
(showing a Trump rally)
Moderator: But what if there was a deeper reason for their frustration?
Psychologist: Across the alt-right movement, leaders are telling young men not to masturbate.

I recently watched the movie "Bohemian Rhapsody." It's a pretty good especially for those who like the group "Queen". Of course, a good portion of the movie revolved around the inspiration and development for the title song which reached #1 in the UK 16 years apart. The second corresponding with the death of Freddy Mercury which also extra playtime in the US the year after being featured in the move "Wayne's World".

Anyway, the beach has been slow lately with no posts since Christmas. So here are the links to the song's official video and to Jim Henson's terrific parody of the original.
