How I got my screenname...

A quiet place at the lagoon side for speaking about all and nothing (the financial crisis, sex, your country, sex, hobbies, or...sex)

BRANES, it's an anagram of my initials and my late wife's maiden initials. RES NAB
It became the name for my computer consulting business.

My screenname comes from an ancient text-based adventure game (called Adventure, strangely enough) that we used to play on an IBM mainframe, about 25-30 years ago. It was one of the magic words you would use to jump from one location in the game to another.

Hello everybody ;) ,

My friends called me of fun of my pseudonymous "naughty". Maybe I'm naughty, but I'm also very nice ;)

Heh! I remember Colossal Cave Adventure, although the version I cut my text adventure teeth on was an extended version by Level Nine! Also, in the game Zork, typing 'xyzzy' and pressing enter produces the response:

A hollow voice says "fool."

Being naughty AND nice is actually normal... We are all a little of both. But most of us do not wish to admit it. So your name shows that you recognize all aspects of your life. Good for you.

I doubt it -- I'm not really qualified to speak for Loup Garou, but I suspect he's being complimentary!

If I was being funny, I would be using sarcasm. But in this case, I was simply calling it as I see it. 8-) In other words, Greebo was right.
