Nope.

It is motocross. Triggered from the magazine found in the bathroom.

Date Choices

Something I tried to do in Finding Miranda was to make the "difficulty" a bit more integrated than a "choose your difficulty" page at the start. I went extremely light handed on it, though, and I suspect the actual difficulty didn't substantively change for anyone. I'll bet that people who were having trouble didn't get any help from the easier date and those who might have wanted a harder difficulty were already getting a high enough score that they didn't notice. But, what I did here was have 4 dates that were progressively harder to find. The easier to find date had more opportunities to get points than the harder ones, but the required point totals didn't change later in the game. So you had to do better to get enough points to see the sex scenes if you went on the harder dates. Etc. Again, though, the range isn't very large compared to the number you can miss, so I suspect this didn't really matter.

In the easy date you only have to click one thing. In the hardest date, you have to click 3, and you have to click them in order. That is to say, if you haven't clicked the first thing yet, the second won't be clickable.

Zebrotvr, you're on the right track. You've clicked 2 of the 3 things and there's only one more thing to click. As a hint, it's in a place where you haven't clicked anything yet.

Lady T, you give great hints. I tend to feel sorry for the poster and jump straight to spoilers. Your way is better. I have too little patience for this stuff.

Another thing, as I play through the game more... I really, really like Miranda with her hair pulled back. She looks a LOT like Lara Croft in the rebooted Tomb Raider series (which I love... this character model of Lara is one of my favorite female player characters ever).

I don't have an opinion on the point system, but if I can give any feedback, it would be to either give more saves, or to allow players to revisit seen sex scenes via some "Extras - Picture & Scene History" option as Japanese VNs tend to do it, or add a "Skip" option for sections (up to a scene) that you've already done and gotten full points in.

Currently with 3 saves, I generally have one at the first meaningful choice, and then the other 2 at sex scenes I liked, but both the navigation itself (Menu - Extra Saves and Restores - Extra Restores - And then guess which of the 2 I want due to lack of thumbnails, rather than just "Load - Load File 2") and the count of them compared to the amount of sex scenes (which tends to be around say 10) means it's a bit annoying to check them out again - essentially forcing you to replay the game up to the respective scene every time, which quickly becomes rather tedious.

Actually, I wouldn't mind having more save slots available as well. And perhaps the option to name them so a particular point can be easily found again.

Yep. Completely different activities.

Thanks Marco!

Also, I wanted to say an extra thank you to both Marco and John for doing such a good job with the translations. I don't actually know whether the French and Italian words are right, since I don't speak the languages, but both files came through extremely clean with only a tiny bit of rework needed by me. Thank you for being so diligent in converting the game, you two.

It has been a pleasure, and I have to say that AC2 gives us a great hand since it makes things much smoother and faster. From what i learnt to use (localization) it's most definitely a step forward.
When I finished the translation of RfJ I almost panicked once i noticed that there were a couple of missing pages...
With AC2 that happens no more.

I also forgot to mention that I LOVED the sauna picture in the credits. I really enjoy a sauna once in a while and seeing them there really amazed me!
And I'd like to ask if the events showed in the first few pictures in the credits happened before or after the next game you planned .

I haven't worked out the exact story for those credits pictures, so I'm not 100% sure where most of them fit in the timeline of the story. Clearly, they happen after FM, but whether each of them is before or after the next game is a bit up in the air. (I know the answer for one of them, but won't say which. :-)

Can we at least hope to see all or most of them in some story in the future? Some of them suggest some rather nice happenings to come.

We'll see. Most of those images are pretty clearly Miranda's story, but Miranda isn't the primary character in the next game.

I haven't posted here, with my impressions.

I really liked this game, though I think Elsa has the best sexy parts of the three. Still, I liked how this one develops the story further. I'm specially curious about Chloe, and would like to see some things from her perspective.

Bit of a delay in my response as I've been super busy, but...

tlaero wrote:No. We would have taken until May if that's how long it took to get the game done. We weren't at all bound by the release date. The animations were a result of this thread.

That thread happened right between us doing the "Low Key" date and the "Ice Rink" one. I'm personally a fan of animations over pictures, but most people wanted the reverse. I was really happy when Mortze went back to doing animations for the Casino scene. (That was actually the last sex scene he rendered.)

Interesting. I big animations fan myself too (I would make an entire game in animations if I could), but I can see why people would opt for images instead if it means more content with a shorter production period.

Ha. I shall keep that in mind. :)

I don't recognize the burlap sack joke. If I've put something about that in multiple games, it wasn't for any sort of meta reason.

Ah, I must have been reading too much into it. I think both Elsa and Jessika have the same possible response during dialogs. Something to the effect of "Choose whatever outfit you want. You'd look good wearing a burlap sack."

tlaero wrote:And I'm not sure what you mean by an "evaluation." Can you tell me more?

An evaluation was something I was forced to do about 20 times at college a few years ago. Whenever we did any practical project (anything where you create something), you had to write a thousand words evaluating what you had done. What you particularly liked about it, what you didn't think worked as well, what you would do differently if you had the opportunity to do the project again. I hated them at the time, but see the benefit in hindsight. I certainly wouldn't want to do a thousand word one, but I enjoyed doing a mini one of a few hundred words for Betsy.
