It's not problem of this game, but might be kind of missed opportunity.

What strikes me as a negative of this game is "minefield gameplay". To have almost all choices either good, or game-ending bad is a bit rough to player, and even though we can save, and skip long already played passages, it is breaking the immersion. We players want to try and succeed based on our best knowledge of the characters, not because it is ninth replay, and we remember correct answers :). So maybe bind some score (for example love in this case?), which provides player with means to select wrong answer and still get away with it? In situation you select wrong answer, and Carla loves you enough, she ask if you really mean it [or something like that]. I don't mean "repeat until", but special branches with one to five lines. That would make something like one or two hundred lines more in the box.js, but the players would love it, in my opinion. You are probably too tired by this game to update it, but in case you would be interested, I can try to create some example :)

And here are two bugs I have encountered [version 1.5, Google Chrome, English translation]:
* On line 3125 is quite critical question, that gets skipped in the game [thus resulting in blind minefield gameplay :)], I guess it's result of omission of "player:player" on the options right after that. [After adding it, it does not skip anymore]
* Options on line 2608 both go to the same result, which is kind of strange, given how the conversation continues. And there is no bad end [not that I am complaining, but in the code, there is target for answering in wrong way]

But issues are just a small nitpicks - the game has a great story, and I am very glad I stumbled upon it. Once again thanks for it, and I am looking forward to your next game! :)


Thank you for your comment! I think some tries to find the correct option it's a great idea! But better for the next game, because add new text implies add new translations and contact with translators, etc... so it's more complicated.

I'm going to review the bugs!

great game,it took a while for me to get to the end but it was worth it
i really liked the texting part since it is something different than most of the games of this genre,it is well written,the build up and tension that carla creates when sending pictures are very well done

For the bug, it's tricky to reproduce...

Start game, get to the point where you select to start first mobile chat, save [just before selecting it, that's how I did it]
Click through to some Carla's multiline part, and during drawing of the first line disable phone delay
Continue with space to confirm it works
Load
This time disable phone delay on first Carla's line [or just use the feature as is supposed to be used]
Try spacing through dialogue, it should stuck on "..."

This is my best guess of minimal reproducer ^^ If this does not work, load again, try to disable it on different places and sooner or later, it will happen and it wont go away.

I played Art with Carla 1.2 and I enjoyed the game.
One part of me loved the "surprise" at the end, the other part of me hate you for that end. :p
I am not an native English speaker, so if you find some mistakes in my English, inform me, so I can correct them and improve my English.

Thank you! I wrote the game from scratch without any program. If you know Javascript you can read the code in the file box.js

I thought about to create a program to make games without programming. But finally, I think there are already some tools for that. If anyone wants to use "the engine" for they games is more than welcome. And If they need help to change something or create some extensions just need to ask me ;)

This game is just awesome. It is one of the best game I have ever played.

I love the story and the character is very well done. The design is good too.

If I have to say some bad point, I would say :
- Not enough pussy licking in the sex scene
- Maybe an option to load from a previous save point other than the last one
- The end is a bit abrupt. I mean it ends just after the sex scene. I know it fits the story but, I don't know ... it is too abrupt.

Well. Thank you very much for that great game. Maybe I will share it with my gf (first time I do this).

Thank you! Although I know little about Javascript, your game is very easy to edit. But even after hours of googling, I still don't know how to put my own images in it. I have no idea how to edit your images.js and addressing pictures (according to tutorials) in PC or online does not work for me... Can you (or anyone) please give me any advice?
By the way I was stunned with the final song! Brilliant choice.

Hello, playing through the English version of this, noticed an incorrect translation when she sends you pics of her in her underwear. It's only a minor thing and the meaning isn't lost but I thought I'd draw your attention to it.

Carla: Glasses do not fit me... and I've always had to wear glasses...

That might be a literal translation but you wouldn't say that. The correct way of saying it is "Glasses do not suit me".

Thank you! Also I've discovered some comments at the youtube video xD

image.js contains the images in base64 codification: but for the moment forget that. When I'm developing the game I use normal images inside the 'images'' folder. Now you can see one image f_0000.png inside, but usually I put all the images in this folder with any name (beginning by 'f_', only a personal preference). You can set up the engine to read images from the folder instead from the images.js file changing the line 14:

The image f_0000 is used to init the image 'buffers' on the css file, so don't delete it. I recommend you yo use images from the same size that f_0000.png, but I did some tests with different image sizes during the development and seems works ok.

Both lines are said by Carla, In the last line she is talking about her tits (mentioned some lines above).

Ah, thank you, I totally misunderstood the last sentence. I thought that "cosas tuyas" and "podrás verlas" were related. [img]images/icones/icon9.gif[/img]

Some minor remarks:
- box.js, line 1370: I think that the image name is 0151, instead of 0151B (I got an "Uncaught Reference Error")
- box.js, line 2822: it is hard to read the whole sentence, because the following animation starts a bit too fast.
I would also decrease the frame rate of the animations where Carla talks (e.g.: the one at the end of the online class): maybe it is just me, but it is a bit hard to look at the pictures and to read the text at the same time
- box.js, line 3427: I do not understand why invoking deleteAllPhotos(). At that point of the game there are only 2 pictures and Carla did not ask to delete them (ok, the truth is: I was disappointed because I did not save her last selfies in time lol XD)
