Introducing the release of Space Scalawag, a funny, futuristic, frivolous fable that revolves around the exploits of a pretty space buccaneer of sorts. Each new part in the series will be posted here when they are finished. The author is always interested in feedback and any issues that someone may discover.

Did you really do the Soundtrack yourself?

I usually turn the music off or right down in stories and games, as it is often distracting or annoying, but your music loops set the mood of each scene without being too intrusive and also transitions smoothly between scenes.

Good work.

Yes, it is an original soundtrack and I do the same as you with most games. For previous projects I collected a bunch of "Royalty Free" music and used that, but this time I wanted to learn one of the many music software packages out there and try my hand at it. The techniques that I found effective are to have an inner loop that repeats with some variation in it and then have the outer loop fade in and out so there is some silence between repeats, finally each time there is a transition, fade the current track out before starting the new one.

Thanks for the compliment, especially since it comes from someone who does quality work such as yourself. Looks like you got way further into the Unity game system than I ever did. Giving your game a try now.

I think you might be confusing me with Mistacorn. I've never used Unity.

Is it possible for different download links? Rapidgator doesn't seem to work for me on whatever browser I try.

It would be better, if you can convert this into a HTML game or something else which can be played on PCs so easily without going through a lot of hassle.
anyway nice game.

It didn't work for me using Ubuntu 15.10 and the most recent Firefox (the page reset after the Download countdown reached zero) but when I installed Chrome it continued to a Capcha page and went on to complete the download.

Intruder alert! Intruder alert! Google Chrome thought it owned me and insisted on hogging links from my IRC when Firefox is my official default. I beat it though by grabbing it by the short and curlies and uninstalling it completely when it refused to cooperate.

Let this be a lesson to those who preach "Don't Be Evil" then make like Saruman of Many Colours!
