Take on the role of Vera Blanc, a beautiful young woman who, after brain surgery, gained the extraordinary ability to read other people's minds! Daughter of multi-millionaire Emmanuel Blanc, Vera left her life of luxury to work alongside paranormal detective Brandon Mackey (former FBI agent). Be immersed in the world of the supernatural as you play the detective!
Travel with Vera to Romania as she hunts a vampire who attacked her detective partner.

Version 6. Changes from version 5, converted to HTML format using process developed by kexter. Now runs on MAC, Linux and Windows systems.

This story takes place after the two commercially released Vera Blanc games, and after my fan made game, Vera Blanc and the Island Phantom.

This is a stand alone game, a 2D visual novel (short story). This is a fan-made game using characters from the Vera Blanc games by http://www.winterwoves.com Game characters are used with permission of winterwolves.

System requirements: A web browser that is capable of playing HTML 5. This has been tested using several browsers on a PC running Windows 7. It ran on a MAC system. It should run on a Linux system.

Known issues:
1. There are screen size and save/load misalignment issues with Internet Explorer 11. While the game is playable, I recommend you use another browser.
2. On a Linux system using Chrome, you might get a blank black screen. This can be fixed by telling Chrome to allow the game to set local data.
3. Depending on your browser and browser settings, save game information may disappear when you close your browser.

Note: Rapidly clicking to skip dialog may cause the VN to crash, or skip visuals.

Thanks for converting this to crossplattform.
However no matter how often I tried, the following two vids will not been displayed in the game:

I think there is maybe something wrong in the project.js preventing those videos to be played but I haven't figured out yet...
Can you please have a look.

It's the scene right after this dialog:

Vera: We haven't been intimate for such a long time.
Brandon: We can do something about that now, if you want.

then video Assets/23-chpt10-alt1.mp4 should be played, but it don't.

I was unable to duplicate the error. I use Firefox running on Windows 7.

The only time I've seen something similar is when I clicked rapidly to move quickly through the story.

I noted that in the readme file and in the announcement post.

"Note: Rapidly clicking to skip dialog may cause the VN to crash, or skip visuals."

What browser did you use?

I was using Seamonkey.
If it works under firefox I'll try with a different browser. Strange thing is that only those two vids does not display the others are fine...
Maybe I need to set the cache bigger...

Wow!! i love the changes you do about the game plateform. It is easier to play with, doesnt need a lot of computer power to see them. Well... great job on the changes! I think i will replay all of them!!
