New page is up but download links don't appear to be working yet.

There are no download links. It says "Not Available Yet". The game already went through a small, private beta, and a bit of re-tweaking. The website is just being staged for an upcoming release.

As far as I'm concerned, Ariane invented my genre. I'm looking forward to this.

Just those two together made me think, "Ew, is it scat?" and I hesitated for a second before I realized it was the poster's name giving me that subliminal vibe.

Did I miss something? Not that it won't be great either way, but is Something's in the Air going to be less graphic than Date Ariane or similar games/visual novels?

It will be in the mix shortly - patience all - remember, the original developed over the years from 2007 to it's final form. and this will be the next step forward. Renpy is a good format (Tom is very helpful), and I am looking forward to see where this has been taken. Graphics vastly improved, and with the Renpy format makes the dialog more fluid (I would think). So,in summary, looking forward to the next step in these types of games/stories...

And - actually - the original in it's infant form dates back to 2005 (my bad)

Date Ariane wasn't actually all that graphic. There was nudity, but the sex scenes were pretty restrained. I'd call it the top end of the "R" rating. I'm assuming the new game will be similar.

Yeah, other than maybe a couple of shots during the photo shoot up on the mountain that description would cover most of the content from the original game too.
