Hello,

Image

Together with Agrippa we would like to invite you to the deepest parts of Ancient Forest for a meeting with lovely Eil'nes.
We are thinking about a true RPG game with erotic elements and in this game we test drive our simple RPG fight system.

You can play Elven Forest here: http://playforceone.com/pf1_games.php?m ... %20Fantasy

played a bit, rpg combats and elfs stuff, not my type, and probably dozens of other rpg games out there for the fans of the genre, was expecting only the usual porn stuff

Unlike MisterU, I enjoyed the new gameplay elements. The fights were not difficult and that was fine since it was not the point I imagine. The different possibilities (run away and shoot or stay at close range) worked well. I also enjoyed the new environment, it's nice to see an elf and not another college girls or housewife :) As usual the graphics are great. About the "animations" (when we move the mouse during the sex scene) it doesn't look that great since I tend to move the mouse quite fast. Maybe make an animation triggered by the move of the mouse (I move the mouse : the animation starts at it's own pace, not matter how fast I move it, I stop moving the mouse : the animation stops).
Thanks for making this game, I can't wait for your next bigger games !

I thought the fighting was a little too easy.

Some suggestions about the writing:
fiancee (with the accent, I don't know how to make it here) refers to the female. I think you used it for the male.
fiance (with accent) refers to male

In this sort of game, you might want to avoid modern expressions like calling someone "honey," "drop a bomb," etc. Using expressions more appropriate to the setting would help give the player the feeling of the game's time and place.

Good game.

Btw there is a link to this game that you should fix in the webmaster area:
Code: Select all
http://webmasters.lessonofpassion.com/zips/elf.zip

(Is 404 right now, but listed)

Leoniser, I can clearly see how your games evolve and the experiments you do in each. I can see how your animations have evolved, (the body movements during sex makes me think of Pussoy's games in a way - ) and see many other evolutions such as your fight system, the choices your characters make etc.
Looks like you're well under way to making an epic game based on the advances you've made when your time will be right.

I enjoyed Elven Fantasy and always always always (particularly) enjoyed your intelligent scripts and neat stories. Question: Do you have a significant female other who contributes to the dialog?

In the meantime I can only say "bravo!"

May I also add a "bravo" to ALL those in this wonderful community of friendly sharks who have contributed soooo much! Whether it's in their own game designs or constructive criticisms of other people's games.

Does anyone know what software is used to create this game? or is it top secret?
I'm curious about how a game like this (or pussoy) is made.

One suggestion, sometimes when the characters are standing you make them slightly "inflate" like balloons and
that makes a weird effect.

This comment reminds me of something pro golfer Kel Nagle once wrote about being about how he stopped a certain iron shot so bizzaredly quickly on its landing upon the green. "Can you hit a 3-iron?" "No." "Then why ask?"

My aside to this is, "Do you in fact dabble in such graphics?"

This comment reminds me of a wiseman that tells a kid to f*ck off when he asks him how to do something
new.

My aside to this is, "Do you need to act like a smartass to make you feel important ?"

My initial aside to this is to throw it back to you -- "Do you need to act like a smartass to make you feel important ?"

Like Squeeky I was tempted to comment on your comment -- I think both of us are genuinely puzzled by it, hence Squeeky's response. Are you puzzled by our puzzlement? There's no need to take offence like the child might in your analogy.

The movement you appear to be referring to has been common to all LoP games and I have always assumed it was intended to give a sense of someone breathing and waiting for a response -- maybe leonizer can correct me if I'm wrong.

Once again I'm willing to be corrected, but I would suspect that Squeeky is genuinely interested in whether you "dabble in such graphics"

Yes I'm puzzled by your puzzlement,
if I get your point you are not allowed to ask about something, or make a little suggestion if you are not technically better than the guy who made the game? is that it?

Well I hope Leonizer doesn't have your mentality and he will understand that i was not being rude but just pointing out something that felt a little weird visually.

Weird, I reach my first ending, on first try, without any fight (ending 6).

Whatever are the others paths, this path is really logical and the ending is logical too (for elven warrior :p)

Graphic are marvellous as always, and I really like the story even if I don't walk all paths for now !
I prefer stories in "other worlds" (like Thorne) than the ones in your real current world. Something linked to "dream" effect

I didn't like new action widget I found: Corwin lick for exemple, as his shaved head was the whole thing I saw , but whatever, I really enjoy the game !
