I mean don't get me wrong, it was a good game and all, but it was more fun than sexy.

Thanks for playing the game. I'm glad you think it was fun. The software I use (Visual Novelty) does not have the 'touch and move' feature you describe (or, if It does, I haven't figured out how to use it). Also, the animation capability is limited. About the best I can do at this time is create menus where you select an action and the characters perform the selected action; I used this 'menu driven' technique in my visual novel "A Dark Night".
There are numerous games with 3D characters that have that feature, for example the games at Pusoy's site.

Well now, that's different... hmm if you are REALLY into programming then i suggest maybe creating ur own programming engine. It take some serious time but the end results are amazing. My brother made his own game engine on his laptop, all he did was look up how to do it on Google. Never under estimate the power of Google. :D

I'm not into programming anymore (I hated writing code when I had to do it). Visual Novelty has a scripting language (I think it's called angelscript), but I haven't messed with it.
If the results of your brother's game engine are that amazing, maybe you should ask him to post in the projects section.
