A Second Face (adult adventure game)

For those who like indie freeware adventure games, non p0rn, there is A Second Face that is quite weird to say the least. You either love or hate it as the graphics are rather bizarre and the voice-over (at places) rather silly (due to the fact that the actors don't know how to pronounce certain English words)...

The plot circles around mystical energy, hallucinatory visions and an ancient sexual religion and in that last is where the 'adult' comes from. Apart from a BDSM scenery in an ancient temple and some 'hallucinations' there are no further 'nude' adventures.

Detailed plot taken from Wikipedia:
The story is set on a tide locked planet. The sun-facing side is inhabited by the Strefis, the illuminated ones, while the dark side is populated by the Ugeltz, the people of night. No Ugeltz has ever seen a Strefis however each civilisation remembers the other, in legends. Ugk, the sovereign of the dark realm, has summoned his two sons Rabokk and Torg to send them on a quest that solves the energy problem of the dark side. The dark society depends on a substance called Margin, that is the only energy source and also the main currency of the realm. This substance is running out, because it can't be harvested any longer. Ugk hopes to find a solution for this problem by looking for the legendary realm of light, which could be a new energy source. He offers his position to the son who will succeed in finding the Realm of Light.

This is a very interesting game. It is the image of her is not like everyone, but the way the design is already in a class by itself. Thanks for the tip about this game.

The sequel is set in a nudist world, but I think it has be postponed indefinitely... work on it seems to have stopped for two years now...

That's really a damn good adventure and actually one of the most popular independent adventure games at all as far as I'm informed.

However it is more close to art than just sexual. And it needs time to develope it's story.

It kept me playing for several weeks and was more like watching a Stanley Kubrick or Hitchcock movie at the end.

Definitely recommandable for the intellectual connoisseur of fine art.

You can be pretty sure it has been shelved, eternally... the last message on its homepage is of 2 years ago...
A bug report of 26.06 on the forum has never been answered by the maker.

I got interested after seeing no activity for so long that there were fresh posts. The sequel is being worked on - it is entitled "May Sunlight be with You" and the latest post is from a month ago. Not sure when it may arrive but it's not dead...sounds like there are three episodes planned altogether. Look in the forums on the website under Fabric hall...

I managed to play the game through with the walkthrough.
Anyway that sexuality maze at the end was really difficult even WITH the walkthrough.
Had to find my way through it by myself...
But cool game after all!
