Legend of Queen Opala II

Can someone help. I have downloaded the game but have to keep loading it from winrar and starting the game from the begining. I have the original Queen opala with an icon on the desktop but can't remember how i did it. Many thanks

Right click on the rar file and choose from the list extract to: C: 'if thats your main hard drive' or in any other folder
Once extracted right click and choose send shortcut to your desktop of the main .exe file that as the icon ..

Is there a forum anywhere with hints for the new version? I've found the basic lockpick, but it doesn't work on all the doors. Anyway, I remember there was a thread in a forum somewhere for the old game, and I was just wondering.

I am not sure if there are any major deviations from the demo that was discussed in this thread. I didn't see many anyway.
However, this forum http://www.ulmf.org/bbs/showthread.php?t=9951 was quite a good source of information on the first Queen Opala game, so I hope they will be very helpful again. In any case the shark's lagoon inhabitants are always quite good in giving you a hint when you are stuck.

Btw.. haven't found an improved version of the lockpick yet either, maybe it comes in part II next summer. It is not too unusual to have to go back and back again to locations you already have visited.

Have you been at the Southern Gate after you visited the Queen of Shaabera? There is some trouble and she will give you the papers afterwards when you visit her again.

It's supposed to be in the temple of the sun beyond the Southern Gate (south of Shaabera).
