i find that if you want to be able to go on the 2nd date with the gym guy, on the first day donate blood then hit the sports center...

@Leonizer...it would be nice to have more access to your new clothes...i only see them once a game and sometimes to early...

I was a bit frustrated, so I should add that for the most part, I really enjoy Jordan 500. I recognize and appreciate the work that must have gone into its development. Releasing any complex software to multiple platforms & browsers is complicated.

So while I was frustrated, it is because there is something really good here or I wouldn't bother to play again. Leonizer, thank you for your existing work - especially the fast response to user comments.

Can somebody PM me a optimal setup for this game? Like a walkthrough of the first 10 days or so? Thanks!

what i do is on the first day donate blood, and buy the +2 make-up kit...get the bed as soon as possible...just keep hitting up the park, can't do not much else til you get a look of 35, then you can hit the strip club...before you go to the strip club either buy yourself a small pistol or spend 3 days at the sports center and train self-defense to 50(that way you won't lose a fight with a drunk)...

One important thing if your not already doing it is to get her 4 sex stats up 'fuck, blowjob etc' at the beginning of the intro scene just choose the right answers they should all be at 30 units when you actually start playing
Also as 'Sexychild' mentioned after giving blood the first day on the second day keep going to the sports center for the 6 days and raise defense to 50 'which is enough and cheaper than buying the pistol' and also raise her looks on the bike, doing this will also get you the second date with the gym guy..

if you get the bed first it only takes 3 days...getting the bed should only take a couple of days...as Rikwar says(i forgot to mention it my self...d'oh)in the beginning go to the party and raise your 4 sex stats...i find it more important then raising you small talk by 30...

Hi Sexychild, what gets me is when you start the game it offers to skip intro 'for advanced users' whats the point ? but bad idea anyhow..

The 'for advanced users' makes it more of a challenge, since you are not as successful initially. In role playing games, it is often more challenging if you character is less than perfect.

I know that shishkabob, but with this particular game starting with low stats = low cash which you need mostly within the first few days plus the fact of the C class worker will cause damage when fuck stats is to low, not counting that many things are random, but hey if someone would rather torture themselves well..

it makes people feel like they overcame the odds and...no it just really has no meaning :P
my guess is it was origionally due to people complaining about the long intro,then just decided 2 make it for those looking for a challenge

I am liking this game, but I'm not seeing how to get to anything other than the three obvious endings. In LOP, your pay was commensurate with skills. Working as a fashion consultant could have a reward proportional to some combination of Jordan's looks, IQ and the cost of her clothes. It could also be a way to occasionally get 'insider' deals. (I want to find the Finish Line Skirt, we all have our weaknesses, and that is mine). Similarly, flirting in the platinum club' could be a way to make some 'random encounters'. A photographer looking for a model could be a fun switch on one of the LOP story lines. This game seems to have a great future for expansion. I am looking forward to whatever comes next.

for the other 2 endings you generally do nothing till day 100 then pick movie star or escort ending...

I sincerely enjoy this game, but stil missing sound but I guess you cant have it all ...... or?

I am not sure about the endings. I refused the old guy on the first time at the club. I then declined the offer to work at the club two days later. When I got to day 100, I picked the club option(first) and got ending one. I don't think that ending was a good fit for how I played the game. I didn't do any club work. I also didn't work with a single client. I only did the fashion $50 job until the looks got high enough to be a stripper. I didn't go to the workout place enough for that ending to be a good fit. I also didn't have interaction with the second option, the producer? There doesn't seem to be a good match ending wise for a stripper career or working the fashion job.

I have two questions.
1. Is there any difference if you don't pay the $1,000 to rescue the girl from the mob guy? From what I can tell, the incentive is to work off the money since it increases her numbers. Paying him off loses the money and if you stand up for your friend, your looks number goes down.

2. The stripper option seems broken. For most of the game, you can make better money by donating blood than stripping. This doesn't seem right. The pay for stripping also seems too random. You can receive the achievement for stripper and still be paid very little as it takes an awfully long time to up your stripper numbers. I can only guess that stripping wasn't meant to be the choice the player would make.

I don't imagine the game maker will return to this game as he is already posting his next project. I just think there are still some balance issues with this game to be addressed.

@justme: This is a fundamental problem in game design. The game designer wants the player to be able to do as much as possible, but when it comes time to reward the player for their efforts it takes a significant investment of time and resources to account for all the choices the player may have made.

Regarding your questions:
No. 1: Right now it makes more sense to let the mafia boss have his way, as there is no reward stat nor story-wise to help Brooke.
No. 2: From my experience with stripping (in the game ) you're paid based on your "strip tease" stat, with a chance of multiplier bonus. Stripping really isn't the best way to earn money in the game, so you're probably right that it wasn't considered as an attractive option to the player.

Would I love to see a new version of this game, with an expanded story and more endings and surprises? Hell Yes! I actually think this is Leonizer's best game since LOP2:Platinum.
