let's assume I am a cyber nono (wich I am)... installed rar, now when I try to open it I get some sort of a menu in wich I....??? help again???

I presume you try to open the file right?

if so you get the winrar window from there you just click extract files and extract them to place you want...

if not then I need some more info since I don't remember to see a menu when extracting files
