On the other hand, I don't remember seeing any games with bbw characters recently. Even if there are some games with such content, there are only a few of them. So all those 20% of men are starving for your game ;)!
You can be really successful. And I wish you good luck with your project.

Only 20%? I'd actually read studies in the past, indicating that the trend is actually a great deal more common.

I think that I may be part of a minority of men who will admit in the light of day an interest in Big Beautiful Women...but, studies have shown that (for internet porn searches done by men around the world, for example), that for every search for a "skinny" woman, there are almost 3 searches for a fat one or Big Beautiful Women.

It's discussed in the following article, at some length: http://discovermagazine.com/2011/jul-aug/05-things-that-internet-porn-reveals-about-our-brains

...but, thanks for the encouragement: something tells me that making these games may prove to be a ride, almost as bumpy as the aureole of the large breasts of the Big Beautiful Women I intend to lionize...

I have to comment... Why would you need to search for skinny, normal, current preference, etc... Only when you're seeking BBW, is that outside of the vast majority posted, so you need narrow your search.
If my preference were anorexic women, that too would need a narrowed search.

If historical paintings, images, and writtings are anything to go by then the current general trend of thinking thin and/or athletic woman are 'better' looking is a relative recent thing, you could possible even say it is a blip or fad in a historical context. lol

That's absolutely true...I suppose it would be interesting to learn how many times people looked for "teen" or "hot chick", vs looking for 'Plus-sized", "Chubby", et al.

I guess Hot Chick or Big Tits would always reign supreme, in the final showdown...

I'm enormously influenced by the paintings of Peter Paul Rubens (the 16th Century Painter after whom the "Rebenesque" school of portraiture is named), and of course much of the paintings of even the Cro-Magnon were explicit (literally) in their depiction of women that we'd consider plus-sized, today (but, we aren't exactly talking about women who were "human", in a strict definition of the term, so perhaps that group is a bad example)...

Try the artwork by Jag27. Google "free art Jag27" and scroll down just a bit until you find a link that has the address of crazyxxx3dworld.com/free.... Click on that and take a look. This guy is NOT afraid to draw the real people we see in our daily lives getting involved in the oddest possible situations. They make the crazy in their name sound very sane!!!
You will see rubenesque figures, obese mothers, and gals with saggy bellies and floppy breasts running around with aliens, guns, and getting in fights.
What's amazing is that they make a lot of money selling Jag27's artwork and stories.

Yes sir...that's a website more than justified, in its moniker.

It's interesting to note how the "fine art world" has even been "refined" in the modern era, by certain intrepid souls who are dedicating themselves to using their talents to depict photorealistic, oil painted tableaus of human sexuality with "real people."

Perhaps the most infamous is John Currin: he's an Ivy-League trained painter who has produced work that sells for a bare minimum of 150,000 - 250,000 Dollars (American) per piece.

He's had one man shows in virtually every major art museum in the world, including the Tate Gallery in London...and he spends his time pouring over porno VHS tapes from the 70s and 80s, and simply depicts the sex scenes in them, in a painting style that reminds me of the slightly pre-Renaissance Spanish Painters like Velazquez.

Anyway...here is some of his work...https://www.artsy.net/artist/john-currin

Visited the link about John Currin's artwork. Now that's what I call art I'd buy if I were rich. He does do great work and the ones that got my attention were the paintings called "Big Hands", "Purple Bra" and "Lynette & Janette".
If all gals looked like those paintings, I wouldn't be able to walk.
Regarding the game you are thinking of creating, how many girls and guys total would there be? And what would be the planned pairings and fetishes (if any)?

Humanity has spent the majority of its existence on the verge of starvation. In the past, heavier people were the rich ones, because only the rich could afford enough food to get heavy. That's reversed now, where organic vegetables cost a ton more than dinner at McDonalds. So, to some degree, the rich are now the skinny ones. I think that's the largest impact on our view of what "attractive" looks like.

Not only that.
Not so far away as 200 years ago, a plus sized woman was, sure wealthier, because high protein and carbs were expensive, compared to cabages and vegetables for the poor, but there was also the line of thought that a chubby woman would be more fit to give birth to more kids.
Of course, a better diet and living and better sanitary conditions would result in a more capable body to cary children. There was also the misconception that fat woman, with big breasts would protect better the child in their womb and feed them better with their more ample breasts. That fact was important in defining a woman's beauty.
Besides, having skin over bones was a sign of disease, and disease was, most logically, avoided like, well, the plague.

Nowadays, those factors are eliminated. Health and medical evolution has erased those parameters. A thin woman can deliver children as well as a chubby one. Now, it's reversed as you very well pointed out. A fit body, with curves where they should be is considered much more healtier than a plus sized body. I don't know if the maternity ability plays any subcounscious influence like before though.

I'm not sure if this logic worked for defining a man's beauty though. Sure, an obese man was most certainly a rich one (or had several tyroid issues) but did the women find obsese men more appealing?

Well, I've been thinking about this concept for a bit of time, and one early idea that I'd been mulling over, had involved a psychedelic Dating Sim, involving these ladies...

(As you'd discussed your interest in John Currin's "Big Hands" piece, I thought you'd get a kick out of this "Electroly-Sis" Character, above)

Now, the idea behind this, had been a playful, fully warped-out adventure through space and time, wherein you are an intrepid "Inter-dimensional pleasure seeker", looking to find sustenance with that most "sensual" of dimensional experiences---namely, women of sizable, physical dimensions...

There's a great deal more rummaging in my brain on that one, but I'm revisiting that and some other ideas, as I'm interested in re-formatting the looks of these characters as we speak...

By and large, I've also found that much of the modern discussion of weighty women being found to be either less or more attractive than skinnier women, has been rendered rather murky by Madison Avenue (particularly Fashion Designers), who'd rather use skinnier women as runway and photo spread models...as their forms are so thin and unobtrusive to their clothing designs (at least, in comparison to bustier, more voluptuous and thicker thigh-having models), that they can literally serve as pretty little lampstands for whatever assorted frocks and dresses that Oscar De La Renta or Calvin Klein wish to foist off onto the public...

I would like to thank you for your recent invitation to the Workshop of Creators section of this forum: I do believe I'll be having to take you up on that at length, rather soon...

Well, I have been wanting and considering making something with more BBW, as I myself do like BBW. Though not too sure about those models in particular, though can't explain why.

I did like the BBW roommate in that Coffee Date game, even if she was just a side threesome character. In fact, she's what made me think about it myself. Would like more shapred like that, but hey, your game, and I'd enjoy either way lol.

Maybe the reason is that yours look older and I would like younger women. Thugh honestly have found it hard to find enough BBW teen porn in general, most BBW porn is matures. But that's another topic.
