Sexy women, & maybe some sexy men too

I'm starting a new thread; largely to post my own work, but if someone else wants to contribute that is fine.

Iris was a character I created for a game I'll probably never get done.

GDS said the following about an early render of Iris I posted on this forum:

Put some more light on her face

Of course I had to render her face in shadow even more!

Nice work.

What work flow do you use?

I generally just pose and shoot stuff in DAZ Studio with 3Delight, then go into Photoshop.

Simple skies and 'abstract' backgrounds are often just Photoshop:

In my recent Heksennacht 2016 images, the raindrops, bats, and human figures are DS, but the sky and the grass are Photoshop:

I suppose I used to do more patching and correcting in Photoshop, but sometimes all I'm doing is adding a signature.

In these two, the characters are walking (or running) on partially transparent planes of my own design. I had painted transparency maps as well as diffuse textures in Photoshop. In keeping with the transparency motif, the final images are transparent PNG files:

This next one even has painted displacement maps. The shadows are generated with props and lights in DAZ, though:

I like this one. It could be a cover shot for a game, if I ever did a game....

Did I say something about sexy men? I did say something about sexy men. I just posted these on my tumblr:

You should put your pics inside a spoiler so it doesn't take an age to scroll to the bottom of your thread, scrolling is good finger exercise, but generally boring ;)

Sure, why not? I edited a couple of posts to add spoiler boxes.

Here are two more of my recent renders:

Nice work.

Spoilers just make it handy for peeps who want to view your work, and it also makes threads a lot shorter which is good for peeps viewing the artwork.

These two are somewhat variations on a theme:

Supposedly this was a preliminary sketch for a potential commission. But I actually went ahead and did enough work to make it look sort of "finished." I'm not completely happy with it, but it was done enough to post.

I'm inclined to think thumbnails are better than spoilers because they give a taster that is otherwise absent yet minimise unnecessary download bandwidth.

Well, You need to speak to Shark about coding the forum so all pics put onto it automatically are in thumb nail format always, we re-coded our forum right from the get go, so all pics automatically go into thumb nail format, looks much much tidier also, no need for spoilers either and threads become much less of a chore to scroll through.
