I have painted custom pubic hair directly on the hip texture a few times. If you don't want it very bushy, that can be best.

Posted: Thu, 17Feb23 00:16I like painting the pubes into the texture because fitting a prop into each figure can be a bother, it works better with transparent/semitransparent clothing, and it gives me more flexibility with shapes. As long as the effect looks good and I don't need a 3D bush, it will work.
