Thanks Rastifan. Akira is one of the first characters I created using Daz. Definitely my favorite. Lol.

Here are two renders I did the other day. I'm actually having an issue rendering using Deep Shadow in the lighting. You can see what I'm talking about in the solo pic.

Try adding spot or point lights and adjust the intensity(and/or color) until it looks the way you want it.Many of mine are just one spot and a couple of point lights.

Okay, so this should help with those "stray pixels"?

There's an adjustment in the skin specular area called trace,i believe, that can fix that.PSU went out on my main comp or i'd look for it.

Point lights are very good for giving the face a light glow and adding dimension to the render it might also get rid of those bright spots.

I know one needs to suspend one's disbelief with this fantasy stuff, but that sort of absolutely ridiculous sword shatters my attempts to do that I'm afraid -- the bow I quite like!

I love the top scene.If you still have that scene try using a default point light,colored red, positioned somewhere in front of her.
