Loved the 1st one too, for the lighing and pose. As for the model, the teddy bear is my favorite.
You are right, IRay is the best. Sad it makes us cry on the miserable GPU system we have

It depends on your definition of painting. It's a digital painting made in Photoshop, but I wouldn't call it a true painting as I used the Clone Tool to sample a bit of skin and hair from reference images. If you want a bit of behind the scenes info, I made it in three separate parts: the first one is her body, the second is her head with her hair, and the last one is the pair of boots she's wearing. The body is actually the most interesting part as I only did the left half of it, mirrored it then transformed the mirrored image to break symmetry and painted over the seams until it looked good (clone-blur-clone-blur). After this rough "painting" was done, I blurred all of it and then draw the edges over it to bring back some of the detail (it's the style I'm experimenting with at the moment). Overall, it took about 45 minutes.DiTo wrote:How did you make it kexter? Is it a painting? Or did you use different techniques?
Primarily just to stay in form. I find it better to be able to hand a half-decent sketch to a proper artist who can then take it to the next level. If you gals and guys would like it, I could post my similar practice-stuff in the future.Mortze wrote:You're making that for a comic or game? Or something else for us to enjoy?
