Damn not here as well. Ok for those who do not know, Ai images are not created by humans. It is an algorithm that uses images from
a data set.You simply type in a string of words in one of these generators and click create. What comes out, you never know. It takes
no skill or practice what so ever. It looks good because it uses material from artists who know what they are doing.
The ethical issue here is that this material is stolen from countless artist. They were never asked. On last count, over 85 billion images
has been scraped from the net. And the AI sites charges money for the use of the generators, which makes it nothing short of art theft
and plagiarism on an industrial scale. I found my work on one of these data sets.
Artists are anything but happy about this. Why this is happening
https://techcrunch.com/2023/01/27/the-c ... beginning/Several sites has banned AI generated images because of this. It is a plague on Deviantart as they take no time at all to generate,
resulting in the feed there being flooded, pushing real artists out of it. And everyone there is an artist now of course, even if they
never held a pencil in their life. But all these AI images looks exactly the same. So easy to spot.
