What's needed for me to create an adult game?

Moved from Blind Date thread. LRM
Hi, while I'm not 100% sold on 3D Adult games, I'm considering giving this a shot. I'm just wondering what sort of system requirements are necessary? My machine is pretty low-spec so should I be expecting long loads/laggy gameplay or is it pretty ok on most machines?

How 'low spec' of a system do you have?
I used a WIndows XP computer with 4 GB of RAM to create my early visual novels using Visual Novelty software, DAZ 3D, and Microsoft Digital Image Pro 9 (you can use GIMP, it's free).
Example: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3032
The hardware you would need depends on the features of the game you want to create, and what software you use to create it.
If you give us an example (name of the game) of a game that has features like you want to create, I'm sure one of the game makers here can tell you their PC specifications and software.

My opinion (worth exactly what the reader paid for it): This topic might be a better fit for the "Projects" section.

I suggest looking at this topic viewtopic.php?f=30&t=3675

After that look at that entire forum section (workshop of creators) . Be warned the techies like to keep it clean there. So don't ask questions there, that have already been answered.

Noticed it was from blind date. Do you mean something like that where it's a 3D game, in which case you'd want to learn unity, or more like a ariane style visual novel with 3D images because one is harder than the other
