Re: anime style

Traditional animation, like anime, is different than a 3d model, artists "cheat" and draw the character's face to look best at whatever angle they're facing. That's why the simpsons never look good in action figure form, their faces are drawn with no consistency. Anime omits details like nose bridges and cheekbones which is why weird eye placement works. In 3d, we can see the facial contours so it's easier to notice when something is off, hence the uncanny valley.

Here's a short video depicting the GUI, graphics, story, etc in PWU. We've basically created an entire visual novel engine of our own, custom made for our needs (the interactive sex scenes). Demonstrated here are some of the dynamic backgrounds and character positions. Everything shown is subject to change, especially some of the backgrounds, some of which are just place holders. Also no sound in this trailer (we're doing sound/voice production last).

I like the animation during the dialog parts (even if I'm not a big fan of dialog text game :too much to read)
Also the wind in the girls's hair is very nice !
