Textures for your 3D art

Postby hughx » Tue, 15Jun16 18:28

Hey, I've enjoyed so much of the work here, but I have never been able to give much back until now. For the last year, I've been editing textures for a friend who just launched a site with some partners. First in respect to the community and shark, I want to state clearly the way the site works and my contribution.

The site has 3 user levels:
Free: Download up to 15MB a day.
Pro: For a monthly fee download 1GB a week.
Premium: A monthly fee for 2.5GB a week and HDRI images.

My involvement is only as an editor. Full disclosure, I did get paid for the images I edited but there are multiple people editing images. Franky, I did it because he's a friend and I want to help. Translation: I'd have earned more money working at McDonalds. :D

The site is episcura.com. They're adding new images weekly and there's talk of doing 16 bit plates, contests and a free page that will feature images that will not count against the user's bandwidth. If you have any suggestions, let me know and I will pass them along.

Again, my intent is to inform artists & developers, who's work I have always enjoyed, about this resource to add to their list of useful sites. I apologize if it feels spam-like. I want to be sure to respect this forum that I have been lurking around for a few years and also not misrepresent my friend's interests. Now, I have to stop typing so I can go back to crossing my fingers in hopes that Sylakone2 will finish Uni Dreams someday.

hughx,
that seems to be an interesting collection.
I'd be interested at what our resident artists feel about the offering.
For those interested in checking this, there is no need to sign in for an account, merely wait until the flash screeen offers "browse" and select that button.
Squeaky is clean, I'm just a tad messy!

Thanks Hugh one of these days I will look at finishing Uni Dreams. but at the moment I'm working on Envying Celina and my new game which I have not announced much about yet .
What I can say is that it's a similar style to the lop games but not as porn like.
LWT is definately an inpsiration to it as is Infidele but a very different story.
I might announce it soon with a demo I have done a lot of work on it.

Cheers
