In Daz Studio (and a lot of other 3D art systems) the main problem you'd have in doing something like the included image would be the posing - getting the two characters nestled together and touching/holding without body parts intersecting (at least visibly!). You might well find pose sets that include suitable/similar poses, but you would almost certainly need to adjust them to factor in the alterations you'd be making to the physique of each of the characters (in DS terms, Shaping or Morphing).
The props (room, bed, nightstand, etc.,) are available in many places, probably some, at least, as freebie models. Likewise the clothing, hair and skin textures.
Beyond that is the lighting and DS contains sufficient basic lights to do what you'd want.
