Dunno if anyone's interested in hearing my updates, but I like to give them anyway so eh.

Anyway, 177 files at the moment. Yeah, I tend to write a lot. and here I was, trying to lower my scope

Syk's been busy so he's only got 38 down, enough for the first scene/ hopefully some later scenes. He should be doing more by this weekend though

Decided to try and get rid of the threesome idea because it felt a bit forced. Was planning on it being the secret, get all achievements ending like in Meeting Keeley, but I don't know if it's worth doing. Probably my next game if I make one will focus more on that aspect.

Haven't begun actually testing it yet, I've been putting in random variables for the checks while continuing to write the game, and I'm not really looking forward too much to trying and make all the numbers just right lol

Anyway... yeah, that's about it. Just felt like giving some sort of update, do with it as you will

I'd also would like to see interracial scenes, with black and/or asian women, as those aspect is unfortunately rare in such kind of dating games.

Well, how about the nerdy girl is so shy that she (after a few drinks ;D ) needs a 'warm up' with a woman first who helps her to relax and to feel comfortable before she gets confident enough to get laid by a man? Let's say if she feels nervous to have sex for her first time, an experienced 'sister' could show her how it's done and then let her try? ;-P

I kind of want the story to be more romantic than most of these games end up being, so it might be a bit jarring to have a threesome scene in there. Which is pretty much why I had second thoughts, it'd just be there because I find it hot and not because it makes any sense with the characters. Though I'm ignoring my planning document and am making it up as I go, so maybe. Again, was thinking of it being the ultimate thing unlocked by gaining all achievements, but I dunno if it's fitting of the theme

Superawesomemans, I'm sure I'll sound pretentious, but I just finished a class on fantastic fiction. Basically the Idea is that before you change your work into genre fiction (like hardcore fantasy, scifi, or in this case sex game that includes threesome), that you can still have those sorts of elements without making your story unbelievable or jarring to a reader who wants a 'realistic' experience. In this particular case, if you don't believe that either of the girls in question are really into it or the least bit curious, then abandon the threesome. However, I do believe in our modern culture many more girls from many different walks of life are at least curious in a female/female encounter. And, with the shy girl, if there is an inkling of 'i kissed a girl and I liked it' or 'i really like the PC' then given enough effort on our part (time/story/puzzle). We would feel like we earned it. And that's why I brought up the fantastic fiction thing, because that's basically the idea, you give your reader enough information/story/plot that whenever you throw a curve-ball they will stand behind you 100%.
I don't know if this will help at all, just giving my two cents.

Stick to your guns, Superawesome. This genre is packed with meaningless games that contain threesomes. The shortage is in intelligent games with realistic plots and interesting characters. And just because its easy to find threesome porn on the net doesn't make it common. It's easy to find videos of women having sex with horses too, but that doesn't mean actual women are interested in such things.

Make the game you want to make, one that you can be proud of. If its well done it'll be appreciated.

I have to say that I would be against that for the simple reason that games of this type (HTML dating games or whatever you want to call them) have a very limited amount of space for a) characterisation; and b) selling the female lead to the player as a desirable love/lust interest. Making her share the stage with a secondary character cuts into that into that space (unless you're prepared to make your game insanely huge), especially if the secondary character gets the spotlight to herself. For that reason you really want to focus on the main character so that she is as well-characterised and believable as possible.

Definitely don't put in a threesome just for the sake of having a threesome in your game. The best games are the ones that have fully-realized characters and story lines that make sense.

You're right. Final say: There wont be a threesome in this game. But if I make another game after this, that will definitely be more "sexual" and probably have a threesome. But for now, this one will be all fluffy and romantic and innocent (kind of anyway) so it really wouldn't make sense. Sorry guys who think it's hot, just doesn't fit the game I'm making. So yeah, final answer.

Anyway, syk dressed up Celina for the second scene should be able to get started rendering that pretty soon. So that's good.

Well, the threesome would have been tied to "inspiring" Celina, but that's kind of a reverse Christine. Dunno how well the title fits but whatever. I suck at titles.

Anyway, just want to prepare you guys for lots of talking and not much sex. Its a really slow moving story, like I made a big deal about just cuddling on the couch. So hopefully it'll be romantic, sort of like the original Keeley only more linear. Though I'll still try to make the sex hot lol. Course, that raises the question of how I'll coordinate the sex scenes with Syk... Usually I just make the files and have the text give him a good idea of what to render, but the sex will be more visual so I dunno. I'll try not to let you down on that part though, as long as you're expecting a straight, loving sex scene.

As you can see, I am very ordered and write goodly.
