I'll definitely be interested in hearing more about what you think of RAGS development. I've been toying with the idea of doing some AIF and have started looking at TADS. I've enjoyed the games I've played with TADS, and it has a nice free dev system. The coding style is very C-like, which is good. But I've only really dabbled a tiny bit. So I can't really report on it much.
