I am running RAGS 3.0.59 and I get an error when viewing text messages. It says:

Rags cannot process the command correctly. Please try running one of the RAGS legacy versions. This game was created using RAGS 3.0.59. RAGS legacy versions are available at http://www.ragsgame.com/downloads.aspx

Followed by:

CT_DISPLAYPICTURE:[v rptxtphtosarah]:::

I think this is a video text reply?

When playing on 2.0.14 earlier I could view the message but the Windows Media Player would never load a video.

Any help would be awesome.

That is an animated gif. The difference between 2.xx and 3.xx versions of RAGS is that pre-3.XX versions used Windows Media Player and its codecs to handle gifs, videos, etc. With 3.XX and above, they use Windows Presentation Foundation to run any animated files. That needs .net 3.0 and/or visual studio 2015 files. Mine are updated so I have no issues running the text responses on this game. I've got all the .net libraries up to 4.6.1 updated and microsoft visual c++ 2005 through 2015 both x64 and x86 versions. Check and see if you are up to date on .net and visual studio. If you are then you may have a corrupted download either in the player or in the game.

I loaded up an old game recently and got the temporary teacher's position. I had a lot of facebook fans because of a bug where the 10,000 word stories earned me a lot of money and fans.

On the Nathalie side story:

I am not sure if the Nathalie material after the gala is implemented in the game yet. If it is, it is very difficult and unintuitive to access.

I have scolded other students for bullying Nathalie with water bombs, but I cannot advance the story any further. I keep getting a message from Nathalie on my smartphone which I cannot view (not the blackmail, I got that message a long time ago), the message alert just keeps appearing whenever I do anything.

It's very rare that I don't add a note or warning when I delete a post, you have none.

Question regarding this. Is it supposed to display no text when you ask Noelle to teach you how to use the computer? I just get two lines of nothing and then it continues on. If that is it I dunno what the point is.

Love the game. Inspired me to make a game of my own. Very fun to play.

I keep having trouble with this, actually. Even with everything you said installed (and redownloaded, in the case of RAGS and the game itself), it always gives me the same error. I noticed on page 40 or so that wildride mentioned all the specific errors (IE one while eating, one while Sarah is showering, one when coming home from the park with her), and said something about a coding typos or missing pictures. So maybe these are just missing pictures.

Tried to see if this had been asked before but didn't find it: Does anyone know the name of the actress who plays Noelle?

I have never been able to teach a class... or use the library. I am suppose to show up at 8AM at the Voltaire Hall... but nothing happens. Bug? Or something is wrong? Sept 29th is the current date...
