Are Parisiennes still rude on the whole? I've visited Paris for a short period a couple of times in the past five years, but apart from being conned with a pretend gold ring by a gypsy beggar woman, I haven't noticed a lot of rudeness.
On the other hand, talking about skiing, I used to ski in Austria in the '60s, and youngsters from Paris were the main bête noire of the piste patrol and those of us observing proper skiing etiquette. One lot got themselves banned from every slope in turn, and I remember seeing a group of them skiing straight through a beginners ski class.
Mind you it would seem that rudeness in Paris has been taken to an all time high (or is it low?) by the staff in McDonalds flagship establishment --
